WorkPal is designed to be efficient and reliable throughout the working day, helping to minimise battery consumption while you work in the field. The app is optimised for both Android and iOS devices, allowing users to access jobs, complete paperwork, and capture information without placing significant strain on their device's battery.
As battery performance can vary depending on your device, network coverage, screen brightness, GPS usage, and other apps running in the background, we recommend carrying a portable charger or battery pack when working away from a power source for extended periods.

Tips for Maximising Battery Life
✅ Reduce Screen Brightness
Lowering your screen brightness can significantly reduce battery consumption.
✅ Use WIFI Where Available
Using WIFI instead of mobile data can help reduce battery usage where a reliable connection is available.
✅ Close or Restrict Unused Apps
Apps running in the background can continue to consume battery even when not actively being used.
✅ Keep Your Device and Apps Updated
Regular updates often include performance improvements and battery optimisations.
✅ Limit GPS-Intensive Applications
Navigation and location-based apps can significantly increase battery usage when running continuously in the background.
✅ Avoid Battery Saver Mode While Using WorkPal
While Battery Saver or Low Power Mode can extend your device's battery life, it may also restrict background activity and network communications. This can affect how quickly WorkPal syncs information, receives updates, uploads images, or processes data in the background.
For the best experience, we recommend using WorkPal with Battery Saver Mode disabled wherever possible. If Battery Saver Mode is enabled, some actions may not sync immediately and could be delayed until the app is reopened or the device returns to normal power settings.
