What is the 'Overview Job Report'

The Overview Job Report gives you a complete, easy-to-understand snapshot of your jobs over a selected period.

It brings together key information such as:

  • Job progress

  • Time spent

  • Costs and values

  • Profitability

  • Invoicing

This makes it a great all-in-one report for reviewing how your jobs are performing.

How the Report Works

  • The report is run using a selected date range

  • Each row represents one job

  • Only jobs within the selected period will be included

This allows you to quickly review activity across a specific timeframe, such as weekly or monthly performance.

What You’ll See

Job Details

  • Job No – Unique reference for the job

  • Group / Client / Site – Where the job sits within your structure

  • Postcode – Job location

  • Job Title – Name or description of the job

  • Job Type – Job category (if set)

  • Date Started / Date Finished – When the job took place

Financial Information

  • Total Cost – Your internal cost for completing the job

  • Quote Value – The original quoted amount (if used)

  • Job Price (Pre VAT) – The value of the job before VAT

  • Total Profit – The difference between cost and job price

These fields help you quickly understand how each job is performing financially.

This gives you visibility into how much time your team has spent on each job.

Invoicing

  • Invoice No – The invoice reference

  • Invoice Status – The current status (for example, New or Paid)

This section helps you keep track of what has been invoiced and what is still outstanding.

  • Profit and profit % are calculated automatically based on cost and job value
